Our Story
Welcome to our family.
In 2018, just days after Hurricane Florence, we left for our planned trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with my parents, Angelo and Michelle. As they walked along the beach, they found a row of plastic bottle caps and small plastic bits as far as they could see. This was the moment that raised the question, how can we use our skills to do something about polluted waters? Not just for us, but for our children’s sake. And our passion grew into a goal, to clean our waterways.
My name is Adrian, and together with my wife Katie, we are the lifeblood of Amabile Co. We are an outdoor-loving, faith-based family; passionate about the world we live in, waters we enjoy, and the future of our children’s planet.
Growing up, I spent a lot of time around the waters of the Carolinas. From surf fishing at Fort Fisher, fly fishing in Brevard, early morning bass fishing on Lake Wylie, wakeboards, and water skies on the intercoastal waterways, to surfing at Topsail Island, I found my love for the water. And the water brought me love; Katie and I met for the first time on the lake.
Now, with three beautiful children of our own, we want to share our love for the water with them. Sadly, the more we share the water with them, the more trash we’ve noticed and removed.
We started with the desire to clean our local waters using the gifts we have, and now it's our goal to make every purchase support the waters you call home. Together, with the support of your local water conservation groups, we can make a difference for our waters, we can make a difference for our families.
