Our Time. For Sustainability.

OBXsunset.jpg

This was our pivotal moment.

For the first time ever, the shoreline had broken our hearts; and we knew it was our time.

Our time as a family to focus on sustainability for the sake of creation.

In that moment, glaring back at us from the water’s edge, was our nemesis. We vowed as a family to reduce our usage of single use plastics.

The more we focused on cutting single use plastics, the more we recognized them. They. Are. Everywhere.

They seal your condiments, shrink wrap your packages, cover your leftovers, hold your groceries, house your cleaners, contain your hygiene products, wrap your candy bar, portion your chips and bottle your water. You use them for your iced coffee and as cutlery. They are even hiding in your face scrub.

Where to start? Baby steps. We are learning as we go and we still have lots to learn.
